I've been using Quicken Deluxe for 10+ years. The one feature that I've been waiting on is an online tool that would allow me to enter transactions (expenses) from the web (such as when I'm traveling) that would then be download into my Quicken Deluxe desktop file. If I've interpreted the posts correctly, Quicken Online and Quicken desktop do NOT sync with one another. Is that correct?

Thanks,

mucrick

My question precisely! I'm going to keep searching this community for clarity but any response to this question would be a great benefit!

What does this mean? Does it mean there is no support for entering Quicken Desktop transactions from the web?

Me too! I've "invested" a small fortune in Intuit/Quicken products over the last two decades and I'm still wondering if I'm any better off for it.

The syncronisity of the various products seems to be non-existant. Even this year's TurboTax Online would not download my tax-related transactions from my Q desktop product--made it much harder than previous years. Had to have "Support" exchange my Online purchase with a download TT product. They recommended I buy a TT disk next year.

Today, I wanted to do some Investment Research. I added a bunch of stocks to my Q desktop Watchlist, then found myself at Q Online Investments page wondering where all my added stocks were. I went back to desktop Q update manager to make sure Q Online was syncronizing with my desktop. Still no updates to the Q Online Investments page.

I'm about ready to throw my hands up with the Financial/Banking/Wall Street/Credit Card Industry Banksters--how about you?

I'm watching this, and related discussions for better insite into the synchronicity/connectivity of the various Intuit/Quicken/TurboTax products.

I use Quicken 2010 Home & Business; TurboTax Online; Pocket Quicken; Quicken Online; and, others.

Even Intuit/Quicken Support departments are dis-connected from each other!

In today's age of "connectivity" can't we expect more from our purchases?
