Is there any way to delete items from the drop down "Services"

list? There are a number of items on my list that are no longer applicable and I'd love to get rid of them.

If I remember correctly (I'm travelling and don't have QMEM on my laptop), you can only hide -- not delete -- entries that are no longer wanted.

THINK IT THRU! Have you explained your issue so that someone who knows nothing about you, or YOUR Quicken setup, can understand what your issue is? Are you using standard Quicken terminology, particularly with respect to FILES, ACCOUNTS and CATEGORIES?

You are correct, you can hide the service, provider, reason, etc. You cannot delete them. However, if these are mistakes and not valid entries that have been used/selectd for expenses, then here is a suggestion...

You can "reuse" these items by using the edit option and change the description. When I end up with "mistake" entries, I will change the text so they always appear at the beginning of the list (a1, a2, etc) so that when I need a new entry, I can select one of these, change the text and now I have my new entry and have eliminated one of my mistake entries. (Again, here is my caution... do this only if you have not used the item on a valid claim because if you do, you change the the valid claim to the new text.)
