Just tried to reinstall had a problem install dotnet 1.1, Vista is currently at dotnet 3.0. Running debugger did not help. I did get it open once to enter data but since I wanted to use an existing data file I hit cancel and could not get it to repeat. I will try several things such as trying to install dotnet 1.1 from microsoft and see how bad I can mess up my system. I will post if I succeed.

After going through all that I got the QMEM exe on the desktop. Went to help and the Vista compatability wizard and set to run in XP compatable mode. Make sure you check run in compatible mode every time. It ran fine. Vista moves all your files to C:windows.old. Once you get to run in compatable mode you can open your old files and save to C:QMEM. I was able to install Quicken H&B 2007 without any problems however after downloading transactions; the flag appears on the account, indicating there are transactions to review. However, when you open the account, the downloaded transactions do not appear in the Compare to Register window. Instead, the transactions are available in the Online Center. I have tried all the suggested fixes without success including, file verification & downloading the two zip files and replacing files in the Snap & Qsapi folders. I have to date been unable to get anything to work. I find it hard to believe that Intuit has decided to abandon their loyal users & not release any fixes for QH&B till 2008. If this is truly the case I may just have to switch to another application. If I do end up doing that I can assure you I will not be switching back. If anyone has any ideas how to fix my issue or has heard any word about possible fixes in the works that will make QH&B 2007 compatible MS Vista please advise.
With all due respect....I have been totally unable to get QMEM to open on a brand new PC with Vista Business. Unfortunately Intuit has never responded to my requests for assistance even though I have sent 4+ emails via their system. Amazing, once they have your money there is very poor customer support.
When you installed, did you run it in compatability mode? I have successfully installed QMEM on Windows Vista Home Premium. I installed under compatability with Windows XP and I also specified run as administrator.
I copied my data file to the new computer and selected that file to open. It is working fine.
I have tried to install medical expense manager on my new laptop that has Windows Vista. I am unable to get the application to work at all. I have received no repsonse from Quicken support on how to fix this.
I am also having a problem with Vista and Quicken. I able to use Quicken Basic 2007 but I cannot back up my files to disk. I get a Quicken error message and the program shuts down.
Because of the size of my Quicken files, I gave up on baacking up to disks a long time ago. Have a Western Digital external hard disk drive--it works fast and furious and is big enough for all my files and programs. Small ones range from $60 on up depending on size and sales!!
This post is about: Quicken Medical Expense Manager V2 2008
I just downloaded QMEM V2 to a VISTA Home Premium X64 PC. I ignored the warning regarding .NET (since it already was on my system) and the install went fine.
I have just started to use the product, so I will probable be posting questions shortly.
My primary reason in using QMEM is to track Medicare activity, Medigap Coverage, MedicareRx coverage and Dental coverage.
